About Me
Full Career History
Breanne amassed over 13 years of experience in Treasury Management Advisory; first at LaSalle Bank, and subsequently with Cole Taylor/MB Financial Bank. At MB Financial, she served the MB Financial Government and Association Banking markets, giving her a meaningful connection to the Chicagoland municipal and nonprofit community.
Volunteerism was also a passion outside of the office place. Breanne connected with Shirley Ryan AbilityLab Associate Board in 2013, eventually serving as Associate Board President. As President, she led record fundraising successes and reinvigorated a tactile connection to the Board’s strategic mission.
In 2017, Breanne pivoted her focus twofold. First, to the wellness industry, where she happily pursued her new role as a fitness professional. Breanne is a now certified Les Mills GRIT, Core, and Spinning instructor and teaches group fitness at studios around Chicago. She plans to continue training in new formats and aspires to invest in companies with wellness at the forefront of their mission.
Next, Breanne doubled down on her commitment to the Chicago nonprofit community. As a Partner with Social Venture Partners (SVP) - Chicago, Breanne provides capacity-building support across the vast SVP family of nonprofits. She has served as Investment Committee member, Fast Pitch coach, and has ongoing roles in strategic organizational projects. She is now an advisor to Investee/Community Partner, Ladies of Virtue for a 3-year partnership. Breanne also now serves as a member of the Shirley Ryan Keystone Board, as that mission that forever remains near and dear to hear heart.
Breanne believes that a successful industry transition must include education and effort. As such, she is currently working toward a Kellogg Executive Scholar Certificate in Nonprofit Management. Breanne plans to pursue additional nonprofit roles, partnerships, and investments and is excited to continually shape and evaluate her new profession.
A native of St. Louis, Breanne has called Chicago home since graduating from the University of Illinois College of Business in 2004. She currently resides in Wicker Park with her husband, Brian. Together they have a shared love for skiing, travel, and working to improve the Chicagoland community.
